ECO-FRIENDLY GADGETS

Author: With the world generating twenty to fifty million metric tons of electronic waste each year it is high time that we think about the pollution and wasted energy. Its not only a big messy mountain of discarded computers, monitors, and printers, it is also the harmful chemicals these electronics give off that add on.
With the earth’s average temperature rising to 3.2 to 7.2F, our planets bio-diversity would face the greatest extinction. Increase in conventional fossil fuel use and a habitable planet cannot go together. So a future energy path ought to be devised for our basic energy requirements.
The epitome of energy conservation constitutes in an environmental show-home. It contains hundreds of environmentally-friendly features including a solar thermal system which provide 50% of the energy needed for water heating. There is a photovoltaic system and solar panels on the roof. In the bathroom there is a compost toilet where moisture and any smells are sucked away by a fan and the rest is kept in a container where it turns to dust. There are taps which immediately switch off when your hands are not under them so no wastage of water.
Well, being green and eco-friendly doesn’t have to be dull. The potential for solar power is spectacular. In about half an hour, enough sunlight reaches the Earth's surface to meet the world's energy demand for a year. A few for you to look into:
- • SOLAR PANEL: Sunlight is maybe the most renewable of all resources, and that makes solar-powered products incredibly eco-friendly.
